Coriander seeds come from the blooms of the cilantro herb. Different varieties of coriander are native to Southern Europe, the Middle and Far East where the seeds, leaves and roots of this plant are used in different ways in the respective cuisines. Use in soups, stews, curries, stir fries, pickling spices and with melted butter on fish and poultry meat.
