Spooky Treats Kids Cooking Class

Join Mary on Tuesday, October 27th from 5pm to 6:30pm for a Spooky Treats Kids Cooking Class! We will demonstrate how to make Mummified Hot Dogs and Mummified English Muffin Pizzas for dinner and then Spiderweb Cookies for dessert. After the demo, parents and kiddos will be invited to put together and bake their own Mummies and may choose to either eat these in the shop or take them home to enjoy.

The register is always open for shopping after events, as well. Attendees receive 10% off the purchase of any class ingredients during the event.

Participants are encouraged to dress up, but costumes are not required.

This class is intended for participants 8+ years of age and their accompanying adult guardian. One ticket includes both the kiddo and their guardian, so please only register for the participating child. Max two children per adult with one ticket per child, please.

Mary McGuire is the Store Manager at Arome. She was born and raised near Lodi, CA and spent the first 16 years of her adult life working in health insurance. She has always had a passion for cooking and baking (especially fresh pasta and cheesecakes!), and three years ago decided it was time for a big change and moved to Redmond. She instantly fell in love with the culture and people, especially the spring and summer when the farmer’s markets and product stands are open. When Mary isn’t at Arome, she is usually home trying out new recipes or hanging out with her tiny dog, Paige.

Tickets are non-refundable within 2 weeks of the event. You are welcome to give your ticket to a friend if you are unable to attend. It would be greatly appreciated if you could notify us of any changes in attendance so we can send out reminders to the appropriate people.
