Join our Store Manager, Mary, on this late summer's afternoon for a demonstration of making three Italian frozen desserts from scratch: Lemon Olive Oil Sorbetto, Honey & Almond Sorbetto, and Espresso Gelato. Each dessert will be paired with a different Italian wine for guests to sample together.
Mary McGuire is the Store Manager at Arome. She was born and raised near Lodi, CA and spent the first 16 years of her life working in health insurance. She has always had a passion for cooking and baking (especially fresh pasta and cheesecakes!), and two years ago decided it was time for a big change and moved to Redmond. She instantly fell in love with the culture and people, especially the spring and summer when the farmer’s markets and product stands are open. When Mary isn’t at Arome, she is usually home trying out new recipes or hanging out with her tiny dog, Paige.
