Chili Urfa Flakes - 1/2 cup Shaker Jar (2 oz)

Urfa Pepper, which is also known as Isot Pepper, is a chili grown in the Urfa region of Turkey. Sun dried during the day and wrapped and sweated at night, this chili has a wonderful sweet and smoky flavor, that is often compared to dried fruits and tobacco. Urfa Pepper is slightly hotter than Aleppo Pepper and is a uniquely deep reddish black color. Urfa is traditionally used with meats, but can be used on a wide variety of dishes to add a medium heat with a great, lightly sweet and smoky flavor.

Ingredients: Urfa Chili Crushed with Salt and Sunflower Oil added during the curing process.
