Our red ghost peppers are grown and dried in the Columbia River Gorge in Washington. We love the aroma of fresh ghost peppers and it's the key ingredient in our ghost pepper salt as well. Try slicing a thread off from a pepper and infusing it into water or oil and then using that in your cooking. On the Scoville scale red ghost peppers range from 800,000-1,000,000. Take care in handling these spicy beauties, we recommend you wear gloves to avoid getting capsaicin oil on your skin or in your eyes. Ingesting these peppers directly if you are not accustomed to this level of heat is not recommended. Qty 1.
